|
|
Hi,
Is there a module that provides functionality for personal agenda's/shared agenda's?
Even better would be that the agenda's could be managed/sync-ed with a standard groupware client like Evolution/Kontact using iCal/GroupDAV or SyncML.
So far, I haven't found it, but there is so much to explore
Regards,

On the Zarafa site I found a module for integration of Zarafa with OpenERP, it's called sednacom_extra.
Has anyone used this module? If so, what's your opinion.

Thanks Fabian,
I just looked into crm_configuration, but am missing a few basic things.
- There is no option for recurring events
- No invitations are being sent
- Can I receive invitations from a mailserver
- What about multiple attendees in a meeting
Is there more available than what I've seen so far?
Regards,

We are thinking about developing a Funambol connector. |

Hi Fabian,
I think it would be more helpful if you developed a working webDAV protocol connector - at least a client implementation, optional a server. Most groupware products support this protocol. AFAIK Funambol and other products like it will be able to interface with that as well.
It can then be left to the implementer to choose between different client and server products, ranging from Outlook Express via Oracle's Collaboration Suite to SaaS solutions as Google Calendar and the like, without being stitched to one specific product. There's no 'one size fits all' solution here.
Bottom line: standardize on protocols, not on products.
Just my 2c,

Sorry, meant CalDAV, not WebDAV. Whole different beast.

|
|
I created a simple funambol plugin which can synchronize contacts only (for now)
If anyone is interested in it you can find it at :
https://tinyerpconnector.forge.funambol.org/
Everyone who want to test it or to participate is welcome. (For example Fabien or tinyerp guys)
I plan to extend the module and add calendar functions as soon as i can.
PS : I posted some other infos over the forum if you want other infos |

I would be very interested in seeing a fairly full-fledged funambol client for Open ERP. Ideally, the ability for each user to sync calendar / task / contact (of whatever sort) to whatever calendar / PIM / Device the user wants to use. Such a thing would make Open ERP unstopable in the enterprise!
Hopefully this would be available on ADOO as well. |
